Burns Bridge has accumulated experience with the following quality systems over a thirty year period:
- ISO 9000: Approximately 4 years in engineered equipment manufacture.
- QS 9000: Approximately 10 years at automotive OEM and Tier One manufacturing plants.
- TS 16949: Two years in an automotive Tier One fabrication and assembly plant.
- ISO 14000 (environmental): Approximately 3 years in multiple manufacturing locations
- AS 9000: Less than one year at an aerospace and defense manufacturer.
- OHSA 18001: More than three years.
- Other pseudo ISO 9000 systems for 5 years at OEM and third party rotating equipment repair facilities.
Burns Bridge has extensive exposure to most quality systems and their requirements, including auditing, training and drafting of processes and procedures. Contained in other pages on this site are numerous case examples of quality improvement. Burns Bridge created and implemented the quality system for a OEM piston casting cell and later created a full quality system for a third party rotating equipment repair shop, successfully obtaining a QS 9000 certification and Flowserve Gold certification respectively.
