Burns Bridge has 15 years of casting sourcing and machining experience with expertise in 1. aluminum sand, permanent mould, and high pressure die cast, and 2. automotive original equipment manufacturer, automated aluminum casting processes. With experience working on 1000 different products for over 300 customers, Burns Bridge has a deep and extensive understanding of casting design, tooling design, tooling sourcing and casting sourcing whether non-ferrous or ferrous.
During the past 10 years Burns Bridge has been intimately involved in the specification and procurement of ferrous and low alloy castings from foreign countries such as Mexico India and China. Key to this are judicial specifications for liquid penetrant and x ray inspection at source to ensure the end quality of the delivered product. Burns Bridge also has extensive experience with welding and machining repairs to used pump castings.
Burns Bridge, partners with another casting sourcing specialist in Ontario, using far east foundries. In most cases certified inspected castings can be procured finish machined for the cost of the casting only if sourced here in North America.
